Tax Deductible Donation

The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.
Any and all monetary donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. A receipt will be provided for your tax records if requested.



Cleaning out?
You can support the Friends of the Library by donating items from your personal library collection. Donated items are evaluated first for inclusion in the library’s collection. If the book cannot be added to the library collection, it will be sold via our Amazon site, the 2nd Look Book Store, or in one of our book sales.

We accept:

  • Fiction – hardback and paperback
  • Non-fiction – hardback and paperback
  • CDs
  • DVDs
  • Video games
  • Audio books
  • Textbooks (no more than 5 years old)
  • Puzzles

Items may be left at the Library during regular business hours.

Sorry, we cannot accept:

  • Textbooks older than 5 years old
  • Magazines
  • VHS Tapes
  • Encyclopedia sets
  • Books that are torn, missing pages/covers, moldy or badly marked up
  • Any media that is damaged
  • Office supplies or equipment

 

Kroger Community Rewards Program

The Friends of the Spring Hill Library’s Community Rewards Program Number is TG910
The Friends of the Spring Hill Library has partnered with The Kroger Company in their Kroger Community Rewards Program. This program gives a percentage of each purchase you make at Kroger to the Friends of the Spring Hill Library. Your participation costs you nothing, but your library will benefit. All you need to do is sign up.

Instructions:

  1. Register online at

If you have a Kroger Plus card and have created an online account with Kroger:

  1. Sign in using your email address and your password.
  2. Enroll in the Community Rewards Program by entering the FOL program number (TG910), marking the circle beside Friends of the Spring Hill Library, and submitting your information.
  3. Your account profile will reflect your choice.

If you have a Kroger Plus card and have NOT created an online account:

  1. Create an account using your email address and select a password.
  2. Enroll in the Community Rewards Program by entering the FOL program number (TG910), marking the circle beside Friends of the Spring Hill Library, and submitting your information.
  3. Your account profile will reflect your choice.

If you use your phone number at the register, call 800-576-4377 and select option 4 to get your Kroger Plus number and follow the instructions listed under #3.

If you do not have a Kroger Plus card, please contact the Customer Service desk at your local Kroger store and request a card. Remember, there is no cost to you for either the card or for your participation in the Community Rewards Program.

Members must swipe their registered Kroger Plus card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Kroger Plus card when shopping for each purchase to count.
