Board Members

The Board of Directors of the Friends of the Library (FOL) is composed of a minimum of five (5) people selected from the general membership.  New Board members are elected at-large at the last regular meeting of the Friends of the Library in November of each year.  The new Board will elect its officers at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Board in January of the following year.  There are four designated officer positions (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) and up to three at large positions.  Current Board members are:

 

Wendy Lord, President

  • The President is responsible for overall leadership and management of the FOL. The President helps create the vision for the FOL and future activities.  The President is the “face” of the FOL in public venues.  The President sets all meeting agendas, presides at all meetings, calls special meetings when necessary and coordinates voting via email when required.

Beth Cottrell, Vice President

  • The Vice President assists the President in planning and will act in the President’s place if the President is absent.  Additionally, the Vice President is in total charge of the quarterly Book Sales – getting and scheduling volunteers, marketing the sale, and presiding over the sale.

Cydney Bradford, Secretary

  • The secretary is responsible for taking, publishing and maintaining a record of all meeting minutes.

Lisa Arnwine, Treasurer

  • The Treasurer maintains all financial records, collects money from various sources and disburses when required.  The Treasurer also files all State and Federal reports and tax returns.  The Treasurer maintains separate records for Spring Hill Speaks which is an oral history project sponsored by the FOL

Sarah Harris, At-large Member

  • At-large members participate in all Board activities and assume responsibility as necessary for special projects.

Gina Campbell, At-large Member

  • At-large members participate in all Board activities and assume responsibility as necessary for special projects.
